Principal's Post

Dear Families,
This is the image for the news article titled Dear Families,

They say that time flies when you are having fun.  It must be true, for I cannot imagine that it is April already!

April is shaping up to be a busy month at Mansion Avenue School.  We hope you are able to keep up as we pack in so many things!

Please remember- we are on spring break from the half day dismissal on Thursday, April 18th through Sunday, April 28th.

Thanks to our PTA, our Science Fair will take place on Monday and Tuesday, April 8 and 9.  This event will be held in Mansion’s All Purpose Room!   Students will set up on Monday night, the whole school will view projects during the day, and project viewing for families will be on Tuesday night.   All are invited to come and see the original projects our students have created in the name of science.

Speaking of whole school events, the ever-popular talent show will take place on Friday, April 12th.  This event will be held in the high school auditorium from 7:00 pm until it’s over.  This is a fundraising event hosted by the grade 5 parents in preparation for 6th grade activities next year.  We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our fifth grade class for completing the DARE program.  We are grateful for the time our friends at the Audubon Police Department spent in teaching our fifth graders the importance of making good and safe decisions.

Please remember that we have a half day dismissal scheduled for the whole district on April 9th.  This is a teacher in-service in the afternoon.

Please mark your calendars for NJSLA testing beginning on May 1 and Children’s Night scheduled for May 29th at 7:00 p.m.  You will be in for a treat as you browse the artwork and other projects your children have created throughout the year.

I hope you have a great month!
