All parents must complete the Covid-19 waiver in Genesis before the student enters the school building. 6th graders also need to complete a waiver in their Student Genesis account. A forehead scan for temperature will be checked and staff will be looking for overt symptoms that could be attributed to Covid-19. No one can enter the building with symptoms or a forehead temperature scan of 100.4 or above. Masks are to be worn when on district property.

Per the guidance of the Camden County Department of Health, students displaying symptoms that could be attributed to COVID-19 are to be assessed by their healthcare provider. If the healthcare provider has determined that the student’s symptoms are not attributed to COVID-19, a separate definitive diagnosis explaining the symptoms is required. The Audubon Public School District appreciates your cooperation in the care of this student and our school community.

Your child will need to see a physician, for two or more of the primary symptoms for COVID-19:

Due to the close connection to COVID-19, your child will being excluded from in-person instruction and extracurricular activities if these symptoms are present.  The following conditions must be met in order for your child to return to in-person activities.

Per the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention AND the Camden County Department of Health, students are:

The role of the school nurse is to support the student by providing health care. I will be providing health care thru assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all children within the school setting. I will conduct health screenings and refer students whose results deviate from the norm for their age. The school nurse addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and supports their achievement in the learning process.

Please refer to this site for the latest in immunization updates and to print out some of the health related school forms.
